This weekend, mom and I went down to Vegas to spend time with Jack. Brit and Aaron went to celebrate their anniversary and Aaron's birthday in San Diego. They decided to do it without the kid. So mom and I thought we would double team it and see what Jack is up to these days. We weren't sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised on how good Jack was for us. One, he was in his own home, which I think helped, and two he really didn't know what was going on. He slept great with very little fuss, ate like a big boy, and played, played, played.
Jack eating, he has discovered his pointer!
Friday, we hung around the house and just watched Jack. Literally, watched him! He is very entertaining with his screaming, monkey crawl, and his newest thing...throwing himself onto a pillow. Saturday we were able to go out and do a little shopping and of course, Jack was perfect. No fussing or anything. He likes to be a big boy and ride in the carts...so that made it easy. He was such a sport to go out in the 106 degree weather. Unlike mom and I. We didn't like the heat and are definitely grateful for the cool weather up here in the mountains. Jack was a champ as we went out to eat a couple times, too. He loves the highchair and loves to eat off our plates. We started to notice that when one of us would leave the room, he would start to cry. I think he realized he got left by mom and dad and didn't want it to happen again. Later, we spent some time in the pool to get out of the hot weather.
So fun!
Here's the crib with the bedding...the bumper is reversible.
Check out the sunglasses we got Jack! "Cool Baby!"

Looks like you got a little window into my world!! Fun huh! Your bedding turned out adorable! I wanted the black crib, but Nate says that everything in my house can't be black. Fun Fun! It's getting close!
Your bedding is adorable and I love the crib! Jack is darling and it sounds like you had a lot of fun with him! Not too much longer and your going to have your own!
