In the last week Taylor has all the sudden become scared.
She no longer wants to stand up on the edge of the coach, table, etc.
She cries and sits by the door if I leave.
She won't let anyone hold her, even if I am sitting right there.
She clings to me if I have to turn her around while holding her.
She won't walk with us holding her hands as often as before.
She doesn't go down the stairs by herself much.
I can't walk away without her freaking out and saying "up, up."
And she freaked out today when I was holding her in a chair, like I was going to drop her.

Maybe she had a bad dream or something. That face is so sad. I hope you get your happy girl back soon.
that is crazy... Avi has gotten scared of me closing the door when she is going to sleep. just over the past week. if i close it after she falls asleep, she wakes up in the middle of the night & freaks! they go through there phases! good luck!
How sad for her to be scared like that. I wish I was help but I don't know what to tell you. I hope it is a phase.
Oh that picture is so sad! Jonna, I would say that it is a phase and it is normal. Lance was super independent and whenever I went to the gym, he was fine, played in the day care and did great. All of a sudden one day he totally changed and was so clingy, would cry THE WHOLE HOUR I was working out, etc etc etc. So, I bet it is just a phase, maybe she is teething or something. Good luck - ps do you guys want to hang out tomorrow night, Spence and I talked about going up to Midway and staying over and it would be fun to see you guys... let me know!
she must be 18 months old, or close to it. Just in time for nursery. Major separation anxiety. It's so heartbreaking to think they are afraid!
Its totally a phase, right when they start to get easier, good thing it is happening now so she will be over in time for number two...I am sorry we haven't worked out a time to get together..its my fault, lets do it next week
That is really weird. I'm sure it's just a phase although I know nothing about raising children. Maybe she can sense there is going to be another little one and she wants more attention. How are you feeling these days?? I miss you and think about calling you often. Even though we aren't phone talkers, it sure would be nice to catch up!
Just in time for nursery! I really don't get why we don't put our children in nursery at 1. By 18 months they freak! I am sorry! Hang in there! It is kind of nice when the baby cries for her mom though! don't you think?
when Jack saw this picture he said "Taylor, out crib. sad.". Maybe that's it-she just wants to be out of her crib :). She'll get over it soon enough. or maybe not if she's anything like my 2 1/2 y/o.
