I thought I would update our weekend and the many "eventful" things we did. Eric has had some time off, looking for a new job, so we have had a lot of "weekend" days. It has been nice having Eric home and spending some good quality family time together. I know he has enjoyed being home with Taylor!
update: eric found a job with Scottrade and starts Mar. 24th :)
Friday we went to our friends, jenni and bentley's, with their 2 little girls Kayla & Jada. We all went to high school together and we really like hanging out with them. We had dinner, taco soup/cornbread/chips/and cupcakes for dessert, and then played the Wii. Eric seemed to be the hit of the night, keeping us all entertained while he played game after game. Bentley had lots of things to show him and Eric would play each one. Thanks guys for a fun night!!!
what a cute family
Saturday we hung around...like we've done most days for the last month...and then decided to brave Salt Lake and hit Babies R Us. We almost went to Costco, but used our better judgement. Costco is worst then Wal Mart on Saturdays. Eric always tells me we have to put on our "game faces" before we go in. We had lunch at Chili's and then went and bought Taylor a walker. She enjoys sitting up and we thought this would be fun for her. I wanted to get the $75 Rainforest Jumperoo, but eric of course wanted to get the cheapest one, $30. I came to an agreement with him after seeing Jenni & Bentley had the same one and Taylor enjoyed her time in it while we were there.Afterwards, we treated ourselves to some frozen yogurt at Yogurt Stop. A self serve yogurt shop, something hard to come by around here. We then spent the rest of the night playing with tayor, eric watched a movie, bath time and sleep.
Sunday, we lounged around in the morning, church doesn't start until 1:00. Church was good. Taylor almost made it, luckily eric got her to sleep towards the end. She hasn't fallen asleep in our arms since 2 months. She looked like a little rag doll. When we left church we were greeted by a huge storm. It was dumping hard and heavy. It was the wet, dense snow. I didn't even know this storm was coming. Thank goodness we are leaving for Vegas on Tuesday. We need some warmth. Eric was excited because it meant he could go snow blow. He really enjoys it, especially since our snow blower was broken during the last storm.
the left is a boy set that is just about done, and the right is the fabric I am using for a girl set

diaper & wipes case, bibs, and burp cloths! A little more girl stuff, but plenty boy on the way

Now it is Monday and Eric is still asleep. I have already fed taylor once, played around with her, and now she is back asleep. On today's agenda...clean house, pack for vegas, make much needed phone calls, get tires on the car, laundry, and the DENTIST! Eric is having some serious pain with his tooth. The poor guy has had a horrible tooth ache all weekend. I was able to sneak him into the dentist today to get it looked at. He has really been in a lot of pain. No fun!
See you in a week...we are off to 70 degree weather (I hope)! We are going to take Taylor out and get a lot of fresh air!!!

Did Eric quit is job or is he just ready for a new one? I am glad that he found a new one! Is it close? Your sewing projects are amazing! Good job! I would love to learn how to sew. when your not busy, you will have to teach me! I hope you guys have a blast in Vegas and Taylor as always is a doll! Pony Party?
Such cute baby stuff! You are really making me want a girl. Boy stuff is cute, just not as cute. Hopefully a High School reunion is soon, I'd love to see everyone. Jenni's family is so freakin cute.
first of all, you are so crafty! when did that happen? i've got tons of fabric for you to choose from if you need it. and i l-o-v-e the leg warmers (and it appears that Taylor likes them too).
second, yea for Eric! celebration dinner when you come down.
third, jumperoo is OVERRATED. the walker is much better and smaller and will help assist in her walking. I used neither and Jack was walking at 10 months if that tells you anything (but then again, my child is a genius!:)
get ready for some fun in the sun!
You do really cute baby stuff! Glad you had a great weekend!
Congratulations to Eric on the job!! I really hope he likes it. Will he have to commute to Provo? You'll have to give us all the details! I like the leg warmer idea. Very cute. If I ever get a baby I will be talking to you about bedding! You are so talented!
Wow! You had a pretty crazy week. Congratulations, Eric, on the new job. I too love your sewing projects. Good luck with the new business. And have a great time in the sunny weather, while the rest of freeze up here. Brrrrrr!!!
Wow what a weekend. I am glad you went with the teddy bear walker the others are over-rated. We had a blast on Friday, we'll have to do it again soon, I am sure Bentley won't forget about the big screen wii games. I love the crafts and I am so happy to do them with you, have a great time, call me when your back..
Wow-so cute! I think it is really great that you have a whole line of stuff, because that should really add to the appeal. I don't know a thing about selling, so I am not sure where to begin to answer your question--but I thought I would just see if there was a market for my product at this craft boutique in Orem. It is an expo with a super cheap entry fee. Also, look up Z. Daisy. There is a great list of retailers on their site that might be interested in your products. Drop me an email if you get a second, so I can tell you more about what I have found out--and you can give me some tips too! pitterpatterplaypads@gmail.com
I love all the stuff you made. Hopefully you can get a little business going! Have fun in the sun...I'm jealous!!
I just read the blog! Man, it was great reading about your hubby. I liked hearing how your two get things done. I also loved seeing the picture of Jenny and Bentley. It would have been fun to have had then at our little party in Jan. Make sure to tell them hi from us. Taylor is getting so dang cute. I love the pics of her eating rice cereal and putting everything in her mouth. It would be great if she and Lance could grow up as friends, (or even more than that). Keep us posted.

The baby leg warmers are so cute! I love your blog background, where did you get it? Don't you just love Fat Quarter Friday's?
I can't believe your sewing!!! Love it! That's great that Eric got a new job. Taylor is huge!!!!
Pretty sure the ban was lifted at the end of summer. I think once it gets super busy with all the outside pools is when the stupid diseases start. But hopefully they keep the pools cleaner this year.
