"IT" Moved!

Thursday night I was lying in bed, all by myself, (Eric was in San Francisco on his way to an interview), and I felt something "different" in my lower abdomen, and I knew it wasn't gas!:) So I quickly got excited and put my hand on my belly and muted the T.V (like I was going to hear anything, but it just made my concentration better!). Then I felt it again, it was like a little "movement" feeling I felt about 10 times. I got really excited and called Eric right away. Luckily, I just caught him and he was sitting on the plane. I told him what happened and he was just as thrilled. Too bad he missed it. Then I had to call my sister and make sure that, that is what I was feeling. I didn't expect it to be so low, so I was a little unsure. Then I called my parents to share the news (I was a little excited, plus I was all by myself and no one to share it with). It was very reassuring to feel the baby move, it made it all the more real. Not like the weight gain, morning sickness, and heartburn didn't, but now I have something to look forward to every day. Hopefully, on Monday I won't have to refer it the baby as "IT" anymore. We will keep you posted.
