red, white & blue

~parade~

we stuck around our new town and did the local parade. it was all about the candy and things being thrown out. i was surprised they still did this. in my hometown of Park City, they stopped throwing the candy because a little kid ran out in front of a firetruck. i was nervous every time a kid ran out and taylor was not allowed to. it was a good parade and super busy.

she loved it and waved to everyone in the parade. she was completely satisfied with the 5 pieces of candy she collected. it was fun to watch her.

~walk and snow cones~

we took a walk to a snow hut and had ourselves some tiger blood(brit!!!).

~fireworks~

we decided to do our own little set of fireworks...full of snaps and sparklers. taylor was excited but scared. she still enjoyed it. ryan would get a little upset by the noisy ones.

about 10 we heard fireworks going off and we walked out our front door and there they were. e had a dead on view and they were super close. we pulled out our camping chairs(which we use at our kitchen table, along with a folding table), woke taylor up and watched us some fireworks.
